The Chevrolet Camaro Convertible may be delayed by a two years — making
it a 2011 model year car instead of 2010 like its fixed-roof counterpart
— but development of the drop top is ongoing. Our spy photographers
managed to catch up with the Camaro Convertible earlier this week in
Australia.
Out back, it looks like even the base car will get dual exhaust —
something V6 Mustangs and Challengers do without. Of course, the
government mandated reflectors/signals are also present.
Overall, we quite like the look of the Camaro Convertible. The
retractable canvas top seems to emphasize the car’s raised rear haunches,
and we can’t wait to see what it looks like with the top down.
Production of the Camaro Convertible was originally scheduled for
December 2009, but General Motors’ financial woes have pushed that date
back to February 2011 — giving you plenty of time to fill up your piggy
bank. |
